How we handle your data

This page says what UnityWerk collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do about it. Plain language, no legal padding.
Who is responsible
UnityWerk (company formation in progress), . Questions about anything on this page go to unitywerk@gmail.com and are answered by a person.
When you book a call
The form asks for the following, and nothing is passed to an employer, a recruiter or an advertiser:
- Your name - so we know what to call you on the call.
- Your email address - required, because it is how we send you a time and a video link. This is the only way we can reply to you.
- Your phone number - optional, only if you would rather be called.
- Your answers about your situation, timing and preferred time of day - so the call starts somewhere useful instead of at the beginning.
Why we are allowed to
Consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing unitywerk@gmail.com; that does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Analytics
Only if you allow it in the privacy notice. We use PostHog on EU servers, routed through this site's own domain, with session recording off, no advertising use and no cookies - it stores nothing on your device. It never receives your name or email address. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Who else touches the data
Only the services that make the site work, each under a data-processing agreement:
- Vercel - hosting, in an EU region.
- PostHog - analytics, EU servers, only with your consent.
- Our email delivery provider - passes your booking request to our inbox.
How long we keep it
Booking requests: 180 days after your call, then deleted. Analytics: 12 months, and it is not linked to you personally. Ask us to delete your details sooner and we will, without asking why.
What you can ask for
Email unitywerk@gmail.com and we will act on any of these within a month:
- A copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correction of anything wrong.
- Deletion of all of it.
- A pause on our using it while something is being sorted out.
- Your data in a portable file.
- An objection to a particular use.
- Withdrawal of your consent, at any time.
- A complaint to your data protection authority - in Berlin, the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
